I’ve been in the United States Senate for three years. During that time, Harry Reid and the Democrats in control of the Majority have blocked every conservative reform and Republican proposal offered by me and my fellow conservatives. And the Senate Democrats have refused to take up dozens of pro-growth legislative bills passed by our Republican Majority in the U.S. House.

That’s why the race for control of the U.S. Senate is our biggest priority in the battle for the future of our nation and our Party.

America is worth fighting for, to ensure future generations enjoy the same opportunities we’ve had to gain an education, get a job, start a family and live in peace, unharrassed by a meddling, centralized, monolithic government. It is up to us to maintain this nation’s place as a shining beacon of hope and a protector of freedom to people around the world.

To break up the liberal logjam that is standing in the way of conservative reforms and policies, we must take over Majority control of the U.S. Senate this November.

We need to capture just six of the 21 Democrat-held Senate seats up for election in 2014 to stop President Obama’s agenda and begin implementing Republican reforms and fiscally responsible policies to grow our economy.

These liberals realize that a 2014 Republican tsunami of victories will give our Party a rising tide of momentum heading into 2016 when our nation chooses its next president.

Failure is not an option for those of us who want to reverse the reckless spending, job-choking regulatory explosion and opportunity-stifling policies of the Obama Administration.

Now is not the time to sit on the sidelines and hope for change. It’s time to act — and seize this opportunity to put our country on the right track.
