Eastern Standard Time From: senator@paul.senate.gov To: DACIALAN@AOL.COM Sent from the Internet (Details)     December 18, 2013 Dear Dr. Burlacu, Thank you for taking the time to contact me regarding United States intervention into the Syrian civil war. I appreciate hearing your thoughts on this important issue. Pro-democracy protests in Damascus began in early 2011 against the government of Bashar al-Assad. His government responded with violent crackdowns. Over the next few months the conflict spread throughout the country and degenerated into civil war. While the conflict might have started with pro-democracy protesters, in this civil war, there are no clear allies. On

O'Reilly: Megyn Kelly is Right, Santa is White

Monday, 16 Dec 2013 09:12 PM By Greg Richter Share: Fox News host   Bill O'Reilly  defended   fellow Fox host Megyn Kelly Monday night, saying that Santa Claus is indeed white. But, he noted, it doesn't really matter. Kelly came under fire   last week after saying that both Santa and Jesus were white men. She was responding to a Slate article by Aisha Harris, who wrote an opinion piece titled "Santa Claus Should Not Be a White Man Anymore."  Urgent:  Do You Approve Or Disapprove of President Obama's Job Performance? Vote Now in Urgent Poll  "When I saw this headline I kinda laughed and I said, 'Oh, this is ridiculous. Yet another person claiming it’s racist to have a white Santa,'" Kelly said. "And by the way, for all you kids watching at home, Santa just is white." A firestorm of criticism erupted, especially after Kelly had just told "Tonight Show" host Jay Leno days earlier that she isn't on

the Bible is his FOUNDATION for investing. (Biblia este o afacere jidaneasca)     Most people know Sean Hyman from his regular appearances on Fox Business, CNBC, and Bloomberg television ... Sean is notorious for his uncanny ability to predict precise moves in the stock market. Recently, I asked Sean what his secret is for investing so successfully. I expected Sean to say that it was his years of experience at Charles Schwab or perhaps one of the complicated algorithms he uses for timing the stock market. So when Sean responded that his secret to investing was the Bible, I was thoroughly shocked. Yes, I knew Sean was a Christian (anyone who spends more than 1 minute with him will pick that up!). However, people usually keep their faith separate from things like ... investing. But not Sean For Sean, the Bible is his FOUNDATION for investing. He explained to me how there is actually a "Biblical Money Code" woven into Scriptur

Eastern Standard Time From: SpeakerAlert@messages.speaker.gov To: dacialan@aol.com All year long, the House has been focused on jobs, passing pro-growth bills on energy, education, innovation, red tape, open government, health care, agriculture, job training, and more. The president’s handling of the economy is rated at or near all-time lows, yet he’s shown almost no willingness to work with Republicans on these

Rush: Pope Francis' Words Are 'Pure Marxism'

Image
Monday, 02 Dec 2013 04:46 PM By Sandy Fitzgerald   Talk-show host Rush Limbaugh says he admired Pope Francis just fine — until he made "unbelievable" comments castigating elements of modern capitalism . Now he calls the pontiff's 50,000-word statement calling for church reforms "pure Marxism," and said he thinks it's "sad how wrong" Pope Francis is,   reports CNN.   Limbaugh took to the airwaves last week, the day after Francis released the "Evangelii Gaudium" ("The Joy of the Gospel"), to take aim at the Pope's economic views and to chastise him as being "dramatically, embarrassingly, puzzlingly wrong."
